Off The Clock is a static site. The arrow puzzle game runs in your browser. There is no login and no player database in this version.
What stays on your device
Your chapters, current attempt, trophies, personal times, hint records, sound preference
and Home Screen reminder preference are saved on this device using the key
otc:journey:v1. You can export and import a progress backup in Levels.
Clearing site data or removing the app may delete local progress. Your browser and Home
Screen app may use separate storage; backups are not automatic cloud synchronization.
Sharing
Sharing happens only when you choose it. The shared text contains the puzzle, completion time, hint category and a game link, not your progress backup.
Visitor and page-view measurement
We use Vercel Web Analytics on the public game, guide and privacy pages to understand page views, estimated visitors and traffic sources. Vercel processes page visits, referrers and browser/device information, with approximate location information. Web Analytics does not use cookies to identify visitors. Its visitor identification is short-lived, so visitor totals do not identify a person across devices or over time.
We remove URL fragments and query parameters from the page URL before sending it, except for a fixed set of campaign labels. Saved progress, trophies, game actions and progress backups are not sent to the analytics service. Internal game events still stay within the page. An optional session-only internal-testing flag suppresses analytics in that tab. Local development and preview domains are excluded.

Hosting and ads
The hosting provider processes ordinary requests needed to deliver the website. No advertising network, payment system or push notification service is connected to this game flow. Adding the game to your Home Screen does not subscribe you to notifications.
